Typical Program Costs

Once accepted in to a program the following are average fees. Tuition fees vary depending on program and specific institution.

OSAP

What is OSAP?

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) provides financial aid to eligible students.

OSAP offers funding through:

  • grants: money you don’t have to pay back
  • a student loan: money you need to repay once you’re done school

Who can apply?

  • Canadian citizens
  • permanent residents
  • protected persons who are Ontario residents and meet academic progress requirements.

What does it cover?

  • tuition
  • books and equipment
  • fees charged by your school
  • living expenses (for full-time students only)
  • child care (for full-time and part-time students with children)

How to apply?

Step 1: Register online for an OSAP account. (Social Insurance number needed)

Step 2: Apply for OSAP.

Step 3: Submit your OSAP application by the deadline.

Step 4: Receive an estimate of funding

Step 5: If needed, complete your Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA)
